This is a sketchbook documenting my journey from pregnancy to childbirth and accompanying my child as he grow. I used a Moleskine sketchbook, Prismacolor colored pencils, Copic markers, and Copic fineliners. This sketchbook takes color well, so the choice of art materials doesn't make a big difference. When sketching, I prefer using materials that allow for quick coloring.
The sketches mostly revolve around the theme of my child, and they span a long period of time. Since taking care of a child is always busy, I could only sketch quickly whenever I had a moment. Later, after my child started attending kindergarten, I began using the drafts from this sketchbook to create larger works, which you can also see on my homepage. I hope you enjoy them.
