"Aoshima" Cat Island
Many years ago, I traveled to Cat Island and spent a whole day on this small island with only a dozen households. Watching the cats roam freely, it seemed like they were the true owners of the island, as if the island's name was dictated by them.
After returning, I drew some illustrations and printed cards, but it wasn't enough, so I created a series that compiled into this book. I hope you like it.
