Five years ago, I became pregnant, gave birth, and devoted myself to caring for my child. Time slipped away like smoke through my fingers. During these five years, I barely painted, and my career came to a standstill. It wasn't until last year, when my child started kindergarten, that I finally found some time for myself, even if only in small doses. That's when I created these paintings and eventually handcrafted this book.
I titled it 'The Vanished Five Years.' I hope you enjoy it.
